I want to congratulate Elijah Moreno the Department of Oregon’s Patriotic Art Winner on his 9th Place Award at the National level. Elijah won $500. Elijah was sponsored by District 12.
There is a new contest for Patriotic Art. Not only is there the 2-dimensional art but 3-dimensional art is now its own category. The 3-Dimensional requirements are:
Art can be paper, papier-mâché, pottery, metal work, fabric, wood, etc.
Art should be no larger than 18” in any direction.
Art cannot be more than 5 lbs. in weight.
I can’t wait to see what submissions we will have from the Department of Oregon. There are new brochures for Patriotic Art, one for 2-Dimensional and one for 3-Dimensional. Order yours today, they are free.
Training Academies are in August, time is 9 AM to 4 PM. Please try to attend one.

School will be starting soon, (I know, where did the summer go?), so get together with your post and get those applications for Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy into our schools. Don’t forget to include private schools and our home-schooled kids.
