Greetings Brothers & Sisters,

Well, that is a wrap for the Veterans and Family Support Program for 2019-2020.  We had a successful year of helping our veterans and their families.  Please remember to continue to keep records of what you are doing for the Veterans and Family Support Program so you can report it for the 2020-2021 year.

I so enjoyed being your Department Chairman for this fantastic program.  So many different things were done by our Auxiliaries this year.  Some of what was done include:

  • Yellow Ribbon Events
  • Stand Downs
  • Adopting Units
  • Parades
  • Vietnam Pinning Ceremony
  • POW/MIA Remembrance Ceremonies
  • Wreaths Across America
  • Mailed goodies to deployed Active Duty Military
  • Participated in Red Cross Blood Drive

Every Auxiliary in every District participated in the Veterans and Family Support Program.  The numbers are:

  • The number of members who participated in the Program 4355

  • The number of projects done for the reporting year 1734

  • The number of hours spent on projects 27,944

  • The number of miles traveled 136,852

  • The dollar amount spent on the program $149,113

Thank you all for doing what you do.  Stay home, stay safe, save lives.
